Our Story
Dogs are our life and passion.
Fancy Pants Pet Salon isn't just a business; it's a lifelong passion brought to life. Founded in 2018, our woman-owned and operated salon is a testament to our unwavering love for animals.
We're more than just groomers — we're a team of dedicated animal lovers who believe in treating every pet with the same care and affection we give our own. For us, caring for animals isn't a job, it's our life's calling.
The Team
Meet the people behind the grooms.
Erin Hennen
Owner
Erin has spent more than a decade of her life grooming, training therapy dogs, studying animal behaviorism, managing dog daycares, working in the pet food industry and volunteering with animal rescue.
"My job is not just to give you back a clean, well trimmed dog, but it's to make your life and your dog's life better. I am a firm believer in communication and education. Let's work together to make your pet happy."
Outside of grooming, she is married and has two children, Grace and Sean. She volunteers in the community and gives hundreds of hours every year to Pets Helping People, a therapy dog organization, and Milwaukee Irish Fest.
Jessica Pfannerstill
Groomer & Manager
To say that Jess is passionate about dogs is an understatement. Not only has she spent the last decade of her life grooming and working on animal behaviorism, she is also a foster dog mom for a local rescue, Canine Cupids.
Her kind and compassionate demeanor will make your pup feel right at home at Fancy Pants. She has such a way with dogs that even the most difficult to groom dogs fall in love with Jess and end up showering her with kisses.
Outside of work, Jess shares her life with her partner, Matt, and their rescue dogs, Betty, Muru and Georgia, as well as their turtle, Carol Baskins.
Sara
Groomer
Sara started grooming in 2014 and has spent her career splitting her time between her two passions: dogs and fitness. Sara shares her life with her partner Aaron, her children Liliana and Cole, and her three dogs, Gimli, Remy and Axle.
Marley
Groomer
Marley started working with animals of all kinds at a pet store when she was 18 — from there she knew she wanted to work with animals. In addition to being a groomer, Marley is a positive reinforcement dog trainer and loves helping dogs and people communicate and understand each other better.
Ashlee
Groomer
Ashlee has been a professional dog groomer for about 10 years now, but has been surrounding herself with dogs for her whole life. She specializes in long scissored cuts and loves trying and learning new things to enhance everyday grooms and your dog's experience at the spa!
When she's not at work, she's most likely with her kids, inside an antique store, or at the local nursery adding to the house full of plants she already has.
